For a few days every summer, a quaint town in Northeast Ohio turns into a living laboratory.

This year, hundreds of people waited in hourslong lines to meet with researchers. Inside the tents, they had their photos taken in front of a gray backdrop to help with facial recognition technology. Others walked researchers through their skin care routines.
